Anti-Vibration Table for Viscometers

The AD-1685 is an anti-vibration table that effectively isolates the SV-A Series viscometer from adverse
vibration, enabling stable and accurate measurements.

 

Depending on the measuring location, the highly sensitive tuning-fork vibration sensor (incorporated in our SV-A Series viscometers) can be adversely affected by low-frequency vibrations that cannot be detected by humans. For example, if the laboratory is located on the high story of a building or on unstable ground, such as near the seaside, vibration may well be generated by strong winds or high waves.

  • The combination of a coil spring and the viscoelastic body rapidly reduces vibrations.
  • The AD-1685 greatly enhances the measurement stability of the SV-A Series.
  • The AD-1685 is especially effective for low viscosity measurements (e.g. 1.00mPa•s ~ 10.0 mPa•s).
  • Top plate is made of 18mm thick natural granite stone.
