- Isolates a precision analytical balance from vibrations that are imperceptible by humans but seriously affect the stability of weighing
- Fits nicely inside the separately-sold, AD-1672 tabletop breeze break for micro analytical balances
Microbalances are especially susceptible to minute vibrations, which often cannot be sensed by humans. Such vibrations can be caused by strong winds swaying the building, outside traffic, nearby machines in operation, opening/closing of doors, people passing by, and even very distant earthquakes.
To a large extent, problems arising from vibrations can be avoided by simply using the AD-1671 anti-vibration table.
