Microbalances are especially susceptible to minute vibrations, which often cannot be sensed by humans. Such vibrations can be caused by strong winds swaying the building, outside traffic, nearby machines in operation, opening/closing of doors, people passing by, and even very distant earthquakes.
To a large extent, problems arising from vibrations can be avoided by simply using the AD-1671 anti-vibration table.
Laboratories are typically kept at a constant temperature by air conditioning. Contrary to what you may believe, a strict temperature control can adversely affect the stability of a micro analytical balance when the air conditioning causes strong air circulation and minute repeated temperature fluctuations around the set temperature.
The AD-1672 / AD-1672A is effective in shielding your balance from such disturbances.

AD1683 static eliminator, which incorporates a high-voltage power source, is a DC power-operated small-size device which can eliminate static electricity from charged objects without the need of an external high-voltage power source. Since this static eliminator is compact and lightweight with no fan (no breeze is produced)
and requires no high-voltage wiring, it is very easy to handle.Being of a DC type, it has a remarkable ability for generating ions.
The AD-1684 can be used for measuring the electrostatic charge of measured objects or on automated factory lines, and for confirming the effect of a static eliminator (e.g. the AD-1683).

Depending on the measuring location, the highly sensitive tuning-fork vibration sensor (incorporated in our SV-A Series viscometers) can be adversely affected by low-frequency vibrations that cannot be detected by humans. For example, if the laboratory is located on the high story of a building or on unstable ground, such as near the seaside, vibration may well be generated by strong winds or high waves.
